I offer specialist horticultural consultancy and considered planting advice for clients who want outdoor spaces that feel coherent, characterful, and built to last. My approach brings together practical horticultural knowledge, considered design judgement, and a close understanding of how gardens evolve over time. Whether you are planning a new scheme, refining an established garden, or resolving a specific problem area, my consultations provide clear, site-specific advice shaped around the realities of your space. With over fifteen years’ experience as Gardener for London, I have advised on everything from private estates and residential gardens to roof terraces and compact city courtyards. Many of my clients already employ gardeners but value expert direction to refine planting schemes, extend seasonal interest, and build long-term resilience into their gardens.

Consultation Fees
Half-day consultation (up to 3 hours): £200
Full-day consultation (up to 6 hours): £300
Fees include advance preparation, the on-site visit, and a tailored written summary following our time together. If you are uncertain which consultation type best fits your project, I am happy to offer guidance. Many of these services can also be offered online.

Travel Information
Travel is included within 25 miles of SW15 or RG29. Beyond this, mileage is charged at £0.45 per mile. Any additional travel time is discussed and agreed beforehand.
